Benicassim 2026 at a glance
- Festival: Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (FIB)
- Dates: 16–18 July 2026
- Location: Benicàssim, Costa del Azahar, Spain
- Airports: Valencia, Castellón, Barcelona, Alicante
- Music: Indie, pop, rock, electronic
- Best for: Beach by day, late-night stages
- From the UK: Holiday and festival in one trip
If you’re used to muddy UK festivals, Benicassim feels very different. Music runs through the night so you can sleep, hit the beach or chill by the pool in the daytime, then head to the site when the sun goes down.
Many fans skip camping completely and stay in hotels or apartments in Benicàssim itself or nearby resorts such as Oropesa del Mar and Castellón – all linked by train, bus or car.
Why swap a British festival for Benicassim?
Sick of rain, mud and dragging your tent through a bog? Benicassim gives you the festival buzz without the wash-out. Think proper Spanish summer holiday with a huge music festival attached.
- Sunshine not showers – pack shorts and swimwear instead of waterproofs.
- Beach by day – chill on the sand or by the pool, then head to the site at night.
- Hotels and apartments – air-con, real beds and a shower beat a hot tent.
- Late running stages – headliners often start after midnight.
Fan tip: “Beni is hot – don’t camp, book a hotel or apartment.”
Photos from previous years – the exact line up changes every edition, but the sunny vibe stays the same.

Where to stay for Benicassim 2026
Most UK fans either camp at the official sites or stay in nearby resorts and travel in each night. Hotels and apartments often sell out early, especially close to the festival dates.
Hotels & apartments
Tip: look for places with air-con and a pool – you’ll be glad of both after a 5am finish.
Camping & festival sites
Camping keeps you close to the action and works if you’re used to hot-weather festivals. Check the tickets page for camping options and opening times.
Many seasoned Beni visitors camp once then switch to apartments for future trips.

Hiiii what airport do you fly to and wen is the line to be confirmed?? cheers
andrew palfrayman – get in a tent like everyone else you – its a festival!
Can anyone tell me if there are any shuttle buses running from the campsite or town to Alicante on the 17th July early in the day as we need to be at the airport in Alicante for a flight no later than 3pm.
Hi there,
Have booked flights to arrive in Alicante at 00:20 midnight on the Tuesday (12th). There is a bus at 2:00 from there to Castellon and then we expect to get a connecting bus to Benicassim. I estimate total travel time to be at max 6/7 hours. Meaning we would finally arrive at the festival site for 8/9 am. I would appreciate information on two things:
1. What are the opening times for admission to the festival and CampFIB sites? Would we be able to exchange our tickets for wrist bands and enter CampFIB at this time?
2. What are our chances of getting a camping spot in CampFIB if we arrive at this time? How quickly does it fill up? I have looked around elsewhere and experiences seem to vary.
Much appreciate any help, Cheers.
Great time in Benicassim last time: music, sun, tortilla, and sangria… I loved it and would try to be there this year too. I recommend to travel around the festival area for couple of days .. plenty of cool places to visit around, and if you don’t do it for money for can still share rides with locals, a cool site I used was comuto.es .Enjoy!
i too would like to know if camper vaqns are allowed int eh camping area?
Cheers
Do you know if there will be day tickets just for the last day of the festival (17 July)?
Thank you.
bus takes 3 hr 30 mins mate not 6/7 hours you will get there in the middle of the night
Hi,
I am looking to get from Barcelona to Benicassim on tuesday the 12th July. The train’s and bus’s seem to be full. Can you please help me find away to get to Beniccasim.
If worst came to happen and i had to get a taxi how much would this be? I know it wont be cheap.
Thankyou
Hello just wondering if anyone is in the same boat as us…
we recently booked our train transfers from Alicante to Beniccassim and printed out out tickets. However upon returning to the site we have found that it says train blocked. Does anyone know what this means? Other trains say ‘train full’ so perhaps it means something else?
If it does mean that the train is not running anymore will they actually tell us so we can arrange other transport and get a refund!!!
Are lockers at the festival??
Hello, want to know if you need to pay for the camping that starts on the 11th? and to see the music can you buy individual day tickets, instead of the full 4 days?
thanks a lot
In wich street starts de continental bus to Barcelona??
Hi,
I have just booked tickets for 2012 and was wondering if you have to camp.
I’m going for longer and wanted to stay in a hotel – is that possible to leave the site with camping tickets?
Thanks
Hey guys.. where can i get 100 or so early bird tickets from.. have litterally every single one of my friends wanting to go!! woohoo

You don’t have to camp. Tickets include camping but you can get a hotel instead, and then when you goto the venue for the first time you will get your wrist band to enter the music arena
We will try to find this out for you and add it to our, Benicassim Bus Pages
4 day tickets are available nearer the time
Yes lockers are available on site
We recommend you contact the train operators
Consider also a hire car
