This is a reply to Seyerus: Ok, so the headliners aren’t some of the best we have seen this summer.But what about Leftfield, Cut Copy, Foals, The Cribs, DJ Shadow, Ray Davies, Fourtet, Hot Chip,Julian Casablancas, Mumford & Sons, Justin Robertson, ampie Weekend? That’s who I off to see and enjoy the sunshine.

Franz Ferdinand & The Killers? You’re either about 12 or middle aged.

seyerus clearly does not have a clue about music whatsoever. I saw kasabian at glastonbury and they were absolutly amazing. the cribs will be awsum foals will be awsum prodigy will still be good despite them knocking on. hot chip will be class. you have just tryed to name all the big bands and rubbish them, i would love to see yourself do better. also there are alot more bands there that aint headliners that are also really good. if you dont want to go then dont go thats up to you but dont go trying to rubbish bands when clearly dont have a clue about music.

Gorillaz = Damon Albarn, that’s right, it’s just Albarn and a load of session musicians and backing singers.

Half of the Clash, Lou Reed, Snoop Dog helped out this weekend. I’m sure you can’t really call them session muso’s?

Prodigy = Fat of The Land was good, everything else was shit, admit it! They are so past it. At least if there’s another fire this year we’ll know who to blame, eh?

Kasabian = Kasabiwho

One of the best festival bands on the circuit.

Dizzy Rascal = Not festival music, he should just fuck off from the festival scene. You also know this is true so admit it.

Not festival music? Seen him three times last year at three seperate festivals with a DJ as backing. Never failed with the crowd. This year his band are amazing. Seen him on the weekend at Glasto.

What a kack line-up this year. Tickets were going online for £400-£500 this time last year, can get em for £130 on Seatwave now!

Last Year:
Oasis = Rocked

King of Leon = okay, didn’t play but not their fault.

Franz Ferdinand = Best set of the festival. Awesome.

The Killers = Kept the party going till the end.

This Year

Gonna run the bulls in San Fermin on 13 Jul, with a bit of luck, I’ll be gored or trampled and spend a week or so in hospital so that I can miss the pile of aforementioned crap without feeling guilty about spunking £160 on a ticket and watching fuck all. If luck isn’t on my side I’m just gonna drink till even PiL sound good.
